Fireside Five for Friday!

Happy Friday! We’ve had a great, uneventful week, and I’ve loved every second of it. It’s not very often that we don’t have plans nearly every moment. I have been reminiscing this week on what I was doing this 3 years ago…getting ready for our wedding! Even though our anniversary isn’t until next week, we got married labor day weekend 3 years ago. I love looking back on that time and seeing how far we’ve come, how many memories we’ve made, how much we’ve learned and how truly blessed we are. I’m one lucky girl!!

I’m linking up today with 4 fun bloggers for a link party! To join in on the fun, click on the link below 🙂

On to my five random things this week!

ONE– This is SO exciting!! What you’re looking at here is my new business card to my very own private practice. Holler! I can officially announce that I have started my own therapy practice and will start after maternity leave. There’s a LOT involved in starting your own business, as you may know or can imagine. Eric has been amazing in helping with every step of the way. He’s my business guru/coach/cheerleader. We’re just about done with the final steps in the process, which is super exciting. Really, I feel like I’m about to birth TWO babies….one human baby, and one professional baby. Business Card
TWO– Hello bellies! I LOVE being pregnant with this gal. We share all of our ailments, pains, fears and joys of pregnancy. On this particular night, we used our bellies as tables for our apple pie a la mode. It’s what we do. Michelle and I
THREE–
Check out that sweet ottoman! Not only is it super cute and functional, it doubles as a storage box. Now that’s what I’m talking about. We realized that although we really like our accent chairs, we needed a place to prop up our feet! In came the Target furniture sale. This was a no-brainer at $39.99. See this cozy corner? It’s my new favorite place in the house.Ottoman
FOUR–
Hamburger and Biscuit Casserole- probably the easiest weeknight meal ever. Please ignore the two jacked up biscuits. I have made this before, but this time I decided to pack it with some greens to make it a little healthier. Ingredients: Ground hamburger, one can tomato sauce, one can green beans, 2 cups zucchini, shredded cheese to your liking, one can of refrigerated biscuits. That’s it!   Hamburger Casserole
FIVE–
So, I just bought this Moby Wrap yesterday. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it from other Mommies, so I decided to give it a try. I took it out of the package last night….this thing is HUGE and complicated. Holy smokes. I’ve already told a friend at work that she’ll need to come over the first week and show me how to use this sucker! I still think it was a good purchase and I’m excited to use it very soon!

Have a great weekend!

I look forward to reading these each week….#1~ CONGRATULATIONS on your new venture…we’re so proud of you!!! Secondly, I always think back on your wedding Labor Day weekend, too. I can’t believe it’s been 3 years!!! I wish you guys could be here this weekend to celebrate, but understand that you need to stay close to home. We’ll miss you.

Happy 3rd anniversary! I’m so lucky you are my daughter-in-law! I was just wondering how bad do you want that beer?

Happy Anniversary! Visiting from 5 for Friday linkup.
I just had my 3rd child and the Moby wrap was not around with my other 2. I had the exact same reaction when I unrolled it! HUGE!! It took a few times to get the hang of putting it on but it is my little man’s happy place now.
Best wishes for the remainder of your pregnancy!
