Toasted Ravioli

This is a go-to recipe for entertaining, or just treating your family to a delicious and fun dinner.

I made it as a main dish, but it’d be a perfect appetizer at a party!

Boil the ravioli first and let coolToasted RavioliToasted RavioliDredge the ravioli in milk and then cover with bread crumbs.
Place in bubbling oil and fry on for about 3 minutes on each side.
When browned, lay out on paper towels.

  • 1 bag (about 13 Oz. Bag) Cheese Ravioli (Fresh Or Frozen)
  • 1-½ cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs- I added garlic powder to the bread crumbs
  • ½ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Buttermilk (I used regular milk)
  • Oil, For Frying

1. Cook ravioli until al dente (follow directions on the package). Cool.
2. Heat oil to approximately 350 degrees.
3. Dredge ravioli in buttermilk and then bread crumbs mixed with half of the Parmesan cheese.
4. Gently place into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Once ravioli are browned, sprinkle with remaining grated Parmesan cheese.

Top ravioli with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve it up with marinara sauce. Enjoy!
